This is what the entire Judiciary, both state and federal (and otherwise) and the legal industry DO NOT WANT!!!!!! They opened the door to their corruption and Trump and his DOJ stepped through. The Judiciary and legal industry are deathly afraid of this, because it will rapidly start moving down the chain into state judiciaries and bar associations. Pretty soon, the legal industry will become impotent, not because it's an attack on the judiciary or step towards authoritarianism, it's because the judiciary is projecting and gaslighting. The judiciary has attacked We the People for the past several decades. The judiciary is the one moving towards authoritarianism. They created the problem, and opened the door. Now, we have an administration that is taking up the challenge of the out-of-control judiciary. The judiciary's so-called "independence" is actually judicial tyranny. It's being brought out into the light because they caused it. No one else did.
There’s definitely a growing disconnect between how the judiciary sees itself and how the public is experiencing it—especially when it comes to accountability. The idea of judicial independence was never supposed to mean untouchable or unaccountable, but that’s how it’s played out for years.
You’re right that much of this exposure is self-inflicted. The system’s been shielded for so long that even mild sunlight looks like an attack. Whether it’s federal or state, people are paying more attention now—and the panic says a lot.
I hate the corruption of the entire system, but the courts most of all. Judicial immunity is social DEVIANCY
Totally agree!
